Lisa is a very nice and very respectful person. She is willing to work with you on any issue that may come up. All you need to do is call or email her and she will respond in a timely manner. She made our wedding day something that we won't forget and our guests won't forget by performing a hand fasting ceremony. She is very knowlegeable about different types of ceremonies and will let you read the ceremony she has prepared to see if that is what you like. I highly recommend Mrs. Shoemake.

Lisa is wonderful we had some last minute changes to our ceremony and decided to add the sand ceremony and she was more than willing to accomadate for that! The bonus was she is so relaxed and willing to work with people as much as she can as far as what you want for the ceremony she will even write a custom ceremony if that is what you want all we asked for was basic easy and fast because we didn't want to stand on a stage forever and a day and that is exactally what we got! It was beautiful and we greatly apprecate every thing she did as far as meeting with us and explaining how she works... Lisa Shoemake preformed my wedding ceremony on 1/9/2011, which was one rare day for Arkansas as it got about 6 inches of snow on the ground! We were suppose to begin the ceremony at 3pm, but ended up delaying it until almost 7pm because of the weather (Father of the bride was held up in transit for a long time.) Lisa not only stayed and waited the entire time for my father to arrive, but did so without a single complaint. I was so thankful to have her do my wedding, I'm sure there a plenty of other officiants who would have bailed out or charged me a ton extra to stay all that time, and she did neither. The ceremony was just as we wanted it, and Lisa has a great speaking voice. Would absolutely recommend her services, she is top notch and nice as can be. Thank you again Lisa!

Lisa was an amazing officiant. Not only did she respond quickly after my first contact with her, she was very flexible when I needed to change the time. Additionally, she helped me mix and match some of her existing ceremony texts with each other, added some very sensitive custom vows for us to say to eachother's children, and incorporated some non-traditional elements we felt it was important to share. During the process leading up to the wedding, Lisa was always positive and provided gentle reminders when it was time to make my payments, finish up the details of the ceremony, and have a phone conference. She was early for the service. She performed the marriage ceremony with grace and eloquence and helped smooth over some glitches between the wedding director and mucisians. I highly recommend Lisa Shoemake as a wedding officiant.

Lisa is a very friendly and flexible person to work with. I made changes to my vows several times, and she never showed the slightest hint of impatience with me. In fact, she was gung ho about every change that I made. She is professional and very quick to answer her emails, which I was impressed with.
